The shell of this beautiful Blended-Blue chair with armrests is made of uncycled PET bottles that are hidden from landfills in China. China is struggling with a huge amount of single-use plastic waste. Each chair contains up to 60-100 PET bottles. This design chair, including frame, is 100% recyclable and durable. If you count on this, you have a great bottle story! Thirsty is designed in collaboration with APE Studio. The Thirsty chair is the first act of Zuiver’s sustainable mission, an initiative to minimize our environmental and social footprint by exploring alternative materials and production methods.
