Karup Design Sandwich Futon mattress, 160x200 from Karup Design - is a 16 cm thick cotton mattress with a core in latex foam and coconut fiber board. Since we have added 5-10% polyester to our cotton material, our futon has a higher density and thickness than a traditional Japanese futon. However, it still has the same excellent qualities as the traditional Japanese futon. With this sandwich futon you get a medium-soft sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon adapts to the contours of the body, the coconut fiber board provides support, and the soft latex foam in the core insulates small movements.
